The EOG Association for Conservation has been set up to provide grants to help conservation projects, but it also hopes to be able to provide a community for the industry and those receiving funding. To further support the projects being funded the Association is pleased to introduce a Volunteering area to the website. (more…)

All change at EOG Association for Conservation

In July the EOG Association for Conservation held its first AGM. All members were invited to attend a lunch event which also included announcements of the first conservation projects to receive funding. Presentations were made by three of the five projects being supported during 2007. In this the first year of the existence of the EOG Association for Conservation the not-for-profit organisation has managed to fund five projects to a total of EUR€125,000. (more…)

EUR€125,000 awarded to international projects

From the launch of the EOG Association for Conservation the focus has always been to generate enough money to enable the funding of as many key international conservation projects as possible. In its first year the Association has been able to give EUR€125,000 to five diverse and exciting projects. These projects cover many different aspects of conservation from the affects of climate change in Europe’s Mont Blanc Massif and protecting wet land biodiversity in Ireland to ensuring a sustainable form of tourism in Nepal. New Year – New Initiatives for the EOG Association for Conservation
