Who we are

Founded in 2006, the EOG Association for Conservation is an initiative from the European outdoor industry with the objective of protecting wild areas that we care so passionately about. The outdoor industry recognises that preserving and protecting the natural environment is a core necessity and raises funds from within the industry to support direct projects. This Association is designed to harness the incredible power of our industry and to raise money to donate to grass roots conservation groups.

The EOG Association for Conservation will raise money from subscriptions, donations and via its collaboration with the OutDoor show. 100% of all revenue from member’s subscriptions will be awarded to conservation projects.

The Association funds projects that protect threatened wild areas for their habitat and recreational value. The projects must focus on specific issues and root causes, involving direct citizen action, that eventually build public involvement, consensus and support.

Membership of the EOG Association for Conservation is open to any company able to demonstrate an active involvement in the outdoor industry (big or small), including suppliers, manufacturers, brands, publishers, sales organisations and service providers.

Headquartered in Switzerland, the Association is managed by a Board of Directors drawn from outdoor industry brands.
