OutDoor 2009: The ‘Something for Conservation’ Fundrasier is Back

The extremely popular EOG Association for Conservation ‘Something for Conservation’ Fundraiser is happening again – OutDoor 2009, will be the next venue.

Having asked members to dig deep once more, there will be a vast array of products to raise further funding for grassroots conservation projects. So far fundraising at trade shows over the last 2 years has helped to provide an additional EUR€50,000 for conservation projects.

Association members have once again proved very generous, by donating some exciting new and unique products – and not just outdoor products – there are magazine subscriptions on offer as well. Brands joining in this year include: Timex; Nikwax; Berghaus; Columbia; Deuter; Ortlieb; Outdoor Markt; Grivel; Patagonia; Mammut and Vaude. There will also be the one-off opportunity to purchase a special edition waterbottle from CamelBak (stand B1-100).

Manager of the Association, Tanya Bascombe said, “This is a great opportunity to do ‘Something for Conservation’ – get some great new gear for a small donation and feel good about being able to support conservation at the same time – a win-win situation!”

The fundraiser is taking place every day of the show at the EOG Association for Conservation stand, Entrance Foyer West, outside Hall A1:
Thursday – Saturday, 16-18 July 14.30 – 15.30hrs
Sunday, 19 July 10.30 – 11.30hrs
